My Story: Breast Cancer Survivor
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as we are half way through the month, I wanted to express that this cause is more than just a campaign or a ribbon for me—it's part of my life, my journey, and my heart. As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand how deeply this disease can impact not only those diagnosed but their families, friends, and communities. That’s why I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to use my platform to make a difference, and why I’m so proud to be supporting Strides Against Breast Cancer through my Avon business this month.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am a very proud native New Yorker, Brooklyn girl born and bred!  I have made Columbia SC my home over the past few years.  I am a teaching assistant at an elementary school, working with small groups.  Love what I do, but working in education I realized that time is at a premium, especially for educators.  Between planning, teaching, grading, meetings with parents and admin, not to mention the fact that trying to go to the restroom is a challenge, worrying about daily needs like remembering to pick up shower gel, hand lotion, and or home goods sometimes falls to the wayside.  Moreover, planning affordable meals becomes equally challenging.  Thankfully, I am able to help my fellow teachers to take some of these worries off of their plates.  I can save them time with their daily essentials and help with their meal planning and prep.  Teachers are not the only busy people out there.  If you reading this, you are most likely busy too!  How can I assist you to save time?
