I have many reasons on why Avon is a great company to be a part of.   Not only is it versatile but it also offers different ways to earn extra income, along with additional benefits.

As someone who works in public education, a profession that is unfortunately not known for it’s earning potential, I’m always looking for ways to not only supplement my income, but also a way to keep it flexible get extra perks as well. 

How does my company do this?  Glad you asked!😉😅 Here are a few of my favorite things about what I love about my small business.:

• Flexibility: I appreciate that I can work by business on my own schedule.  Having a full time job, plus a part time job does not leave a lot of time to spare.  However, because of the new digital tools that we now have, plus the brochures that Avon is known for, I am able to share my “store” either by leaving it wherever I go or simply texting or emailing it.  And if anyone would like to place an order, they have the option of utilizing my online store or sending me what they would like. My customers also appreciate the convenience.  Lastly, Avon now has live shop and learn events where my customers can learn about new products and or get updated with some of our tried and true products while shopping and saving at the same time! As the video above says: “Have you seen Avon lately?” 

• Earning Income:   As I have mentioned, I work in education and so earning extra income is a necessity, at least for me.  I love that I have options on how I can earn and or build a business.  1 way is to just simply utilize my store.  Why shop for my everyday daily care products from other stores, when I can simply shop and buy from my own?  And get a commission!  Last I checked, Target and Wal-mart does not send me commission notices.  But Avon does!  Another way to earn is to actively share and sell what Avon has to offer.  As I mentioned earlier, I can do this via sharing the Avon brochures or the link to my free website/online store.  This works great for me as the extra income I make helps me in between paychecks from my full time and part time jobs.  Which brings me to the 3rd way to earn extra income.  As you can imagine, working both a full time and part time job can be a bit exhausting.  I am working toward eventually witling down my jobs to just one and then just working my Avon biz full time.  I actually had 3 jobs at one point working at a grocery store on the weekends, and thanks to my Avon biz, my weekends are now my own again!  Being an Avon Lady full time is a goal that I will be working toward!

• Perks:  Earning extra income is not the only reason that I love my Avon biz.  There are several perks that Avon offers that makes my biz worthwhile.  One is a trip that can be earned.  Who would not love a fully paid for vacation?  I know I would!  And last I checked, most employers may treat their employees to a lunch and or dinner, but an all expenses paid trip?  Probably not.  I am currently working toward earning the trip, which is a cruise, that Avon is offering it’s representatives.  Wish me luck!  

Another perk is insurance.  Through my business, I can get health insurance, and or business insurance at a discount.  There is also an additional perks program that offers discounts on items such as travel, hotel, car rentals and more.  And did I mention that LG is out parent company?  We get discounts on LG electronics as well! In addition, Avon has partnered with Strayer and Capella to offer to any Avon representative who would like to continue their education. 

So as you can see, Avon is not just a beauty company!  It is a way to earn extra income, earn vacations, get insurance, perks and a college degree!  The choice is yours.  This is why I love my Avon business.  It gives me more choices that I may not have otherwise.
